I picked up the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette last month when I was in Paris and I have to say, I have been heavily using it since I got home. As in, it has not left the top of my vanity this entire time as I have been using it almost every day. It is a simple neutral palette but I’ve seen it pop up so much on blogs and YouTube over the years that when I finally saw it in person, I had to pick it up. I find it to be a very well-rounded palette with lots of potential. I’ve been challenging myself to get outside the box with my makeup this year and this palette and I’ve been able to create a variety of looks with this palette.
The Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette’s packing is sleek and made up of cardboard with a magnetic closure. It’s quite thin which I think would make it excellent for travel. It includes 10 different shades which include matte, metallic and satin finishes.
The eyeshadow themselves are all lovely to use, I haven’t had issues with any of them. The matte shades blend out quite evenly and with minimal effort. The metallic and satin shades apply great with both a brush or your fingers (depending on how intense you want the pigmentation to be). I always use a primer when I apply eye shadow so I don’t really find much of a difference with regards to wear time, my eye shadow generally looks the same at night as it did freshly applied.
I really have nothing bad to say about this eye shadow palette. As I said earlier, it has not left the top of my vanity at all over the past month. I don’t even know if I can list off my favourite shades because I really do enjoy them all.

Overall, I would say it is a hit! There aren’t any shadows in the palette that I wouldn’t use and I’ve been reaching for this constantly. I’ve used every shade so far and have managed to create a variety of looks with it (but have shared my three favourites above!).
Have you tried the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette? Let me know in the comments below! I believe it’s a bit difficult to get your hands on this beauty in Canada but if you get the chance to purchase it, I doubt you’d regret bringing it home!

Oh man, this is so amazing and for the price too! I’ve wanted this palette ever since learning about Zoeva. To me, this would be the alternative to UD’s Naked palette since this has a good mix of shimmers to mattes. It’s actually so ridiculously impossible to get Zoeva in Canada unless you want to pay $60 for this palette, which defeats the whole purpose of this affordable brand!

Yeah that’s insane to pay that much for it… I’m so glad I randomly stumbled upon it in Paris. I was about to leave Sephora empty handed (I just quickly popped in to check it out) and saw it as I was leaving. Hope it gets easier to get in Canada!
