It’s been awhile since I’ve given my first impressions of a mask around here but today I’ve got my initial thoughts on the SNP Panda Brightening Mask Sheet for you. I picked up this mask last summer at Ulta but am only now getting a chance to try it out. I don’t know about you but there’s something about a sheet mask with an animal on it that makes me so happy. This mask is supposed to replenish dull skin and even out rough texture, leaving behind smooth and brighter looking skin.
The key ingredients in the SNP Panda Brightening Mask Sheet are: coconut water, paper mulberry, mulberry bark extract and niacinamide. I don’t know why but I was getting a citrusy scent from the mask when I was wearing it. The smell was nice though!
The mask was loaded with serum, so much so that it definitely was dripping as it came out of the packet and was on my face. It didn’t stain my shirt though so it’s all good! The mask fit relatively well, it gaped in a few areas but I’d prefer that over it being too small. Due to the amount of serum I did find it slipped a bit if I moved around the house. This mask is definitely betting for relaxing while you wear it.
I wore the mask for the maximum amount of time suggested, 20 minutes. The packet says anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes, but I usually do the maximum. Parts of the mask, particularly near the mouth, were starting to feel dry around the 15 minute mark.
Once I removed the mask there was a bit of serum left to rub into the skin, mostly near the forehead. Initially my skin felt sticky to the touch but dried to being soft and smooth. My skin was left with a bit of a shine to it so for me, I’d probably use this more at night. Shine with my oily skin doesn’t usually bode well.
Overall, I like the way this mask made my skin feel. I’ve been noticing that the winter made my skin look a bit dull and uneven so even though I was left a bit shiny, I enjoyed the life that it gave my skin. I’d probably re-purchase this mask next time I’m at Ulta. Plus, the panda design is super cute!
