Spring Polkadot Manicure

Spring Polkadot Manicure

Though spring briefly looked like it was going to make an appearance in Thunder Bay before it went running for the hills. But, even though the cold and snow has returned I’m sporting a spring polkadot manicure anyways. For this manicure I used one of my new favourite formulas, Essie Gel Couture, as a base and then used some colourful shades to add some polkadots to the manicure.

Spring Polkadot Manicure

Products Used:

OPI Chip Skip
Essie Gel Couture Closing Night (2 coats)
OPI Hey Baby (polkadots)
OPI Banana Bandana (polkadots)
Essie Gel Couture Top Coat
Dotting Tool

I still can’t get over how well the Essie Gel Couture line lasts on the nails. I’ve actually had this manicure on my nails for a week now and all I have is a little tip wear. Normally my nail polish would be at least half chipped on my dominant hand by now. I love doing manicures like this, a nice spring polkadot manicure always makes me smile.

If you don’t have any dotting tools on hand, taking a bobby-pin and opening it up makes a great alternative. I did this for years until I bought a set of dotting tools.

What do you have on your nails today? Let me know in the comments below!

xoxo,

Robyn
