My April Favourites are a little bit later than usual this time around but I have a few products that I can’t get enough of. As usual, I also have a few interesting miscellaneous favourites as well! Is anyone else feeling completely reinvigorated by the sunshine and spring beauty out there? After what always feels like a winter that is way too long the sunshine is making me feel so inspired. I have so many colourful makeup looks on my mind that I want to start working on.

Fenty | Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Spanked

I don’t know how I didn’t mention the Fenty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in a previous favourites post! This has probably been one of my favourite lipstick formulas of the year! It dries down to look like a liquid lipstick, it stays put and I find it to be very comfortable! Morphe | Jaclyn Hill Palette

I’ve talked about this palette a lot but I’ve seriously been wearing it every day lately. Almost a year later and I still love it. I’ve been really digging the shades SBN and Hillster lately (swatched below). Fresh | Soy Face Cleanser

I picked up the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser during the spring VIB sale. After using a few samples of it and being so impressed by how clean my face was after using it, I could not resist. I wish I got the bigger tube because I love this stuff so much! It has a very light but pleasant scent to it and it is so silky smooth to use on my face. I still can’t believe how little makeup residue is leftover after washing with this. It’s magic!

Philospohy | Purity Ultra-Light Moisturizer

Another skincare item that I picked up during the spring VIB sale was the Philosophy Purity Ultra-Light Moisturizer. I have oily skin so I can be picky about my daily moisturizer. I’ve been really enjoying adding this to my morning routine as it absorbs quickly, makes my skin feel great and my skin doesn’t get any oilier than usual.

Coleman Hell | Killer

I can’t not include a new Coleman Hell single in my favourites. Call me biased but even if I didn’t go to high school with him I’d still be into his music. He just always knocks it out of the park! I’m looking forward to Killer being one of my songs of the summer! There isn’t a video for it yet but I have linked the song over on Soundcloud for your listening pleasure!

It’s Disness Time

More local, Thunder Bay, talent! An old friend who relocated to Toronto has started an adults-only Disney themed podcast. This was something I didn’t realize I needed in my life until I started listening and now I am hooked. They discuss topics such as the hottest prince and the underrated Disney songs. They put up a new episode every Sunday so if you’re even a little bit into Disney, I strongly recommend checking out It’s Disness Time over on Soundcloud!
