For the last week or so I’ve had a makeup look in my mind that I wanted to create. I wanted to create something inspired by the Little Mermaid. Meaning… I wanted to combine some foily purples and greens along with a pinky-red lip. Though I didn’t end up using the products exactly as I had envisioned I was quite pleased with how this Little Mermaid inspired makeup look turned out. I’m kind of thinking of turning this into a series and sharing more character-inspired makeup looks. Let me know what you guys think in the comments below!
The one thing I knew going into this look was that aside from using purples and greens, I really wanted to add a lot of sparkle!

I really love an eye makeup look that is heavy on the jewel tones I just never think to do them that often. This does really remind me that I need to do it more often. Although I didn’t really use a source photo and just used my mind I really am feeling the Little Mermaid inspired makeup look vibes when I’m looking at how the final product turned out. I certainly had a lot of fun creating it!
What do you guys think of this Little Mermaid inspired makeup look? Should I turn this into a character inspired makeup look series? Let me know in the comments below!
