I was recently sent two samples of the Le Petit Marseillais Mandarin & Lime Body Wash complimentary for review from Influenster. I actually have a full sized bottle of their White Peach & Nectarine scent so the formula wasn’t new to me but I haven’t spoken about that on the blog yet either. The Le Petit Marseillais Body Wash promises to leave skin soft, moisturized and refreshed.
I have to admit after participating in quite a few Influenster campaigns over the years I was a little taken aback at how little the samples were. However, I was able to get two washes out of it so I was able to familiarize myself with the scent. Le Petit Marseillais Mandarin & Lime Body Wash is as you would expect, very fresh and citrusy scented. I like this scent a LOT more than the full size White Peach & Nectarine that I have in my shower, I really don’t like the scent of that one as it smells very artificial. This one however smells quite natural and I would purchase the full size.
Le Petit Marseillais Mandarin & Lime Body Wash foams up quite nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I do enjoy how big the bottles are in their full size and do enjoy how inexpensive they are. However, it is worth noting that Sodium Laureth Sulfate is the second ingredient listed in this product. The use of this is quite controversial and you can read more about that here. I do purchase products that contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate from time to time but I do wish it wasn’t so commonly used in drugstore hair and skin products.
Overall, I do like Le Petit Marseillais Mandarin & Lime Body Wash and would consider purchasing the full size. I really did enjoy the scent of the product as I love citrus products.
