Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette

Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette

It had been awhile since I saw an eye shadow palette and it really made me feel something. A palette that I was so excited for that I practically counted down the days until it’s release. That was until the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette was finally revealed. This palette just spoke to me. The shade selection felt unique and the purple and pink tones that rule the palette are so very me. Though this palette isn’t quite new anymore, since I didn’t blog much this summer I am finally getting around to sharing my thoughts on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette now.

In typical Anastasia Beverly Hills fashion, the palette is a soft velvet material. They feel nice to the touch and look great when brand new, however I find this material so hard to keep clean. As expected, it also came with a double ended eye shadow brush.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette is comprised of a row of glittery, almost foiled feeling shades, as well as a row of matte shades. While the eye shadow palette upon first glance seems heavier on the cool-toned side, there are some warmer shades in the mix to balance it out.

The top row for the most part applies best with your fingers. Some of them, particularly Rose Gold, are really foiled. Stunning on the eyes but I’ve had the best results using my fingers vs. a brush. The mattes blend out beautifully and I’ve had no issues with those either. The only shade that I’ve had difficulty applying evenly is Celestial which is disappointing because I so looked forward to that shade. There is quite a bit of fall out with this palette. That isn’t really a deal breaker for me but something to be aware of if it is something that bothers you. I don’t have a hard time gently sweeping away the excess product with a fluffy brush.

  1. Bummer to hear that Celestial is the trickiest one because shade-wise, it’s my favorite in the palette every time I see it! I’ve held off on getting the palette, but it’s so gorgeous! Definitely a great fit for you. 🙂
