Q3 Empties: July to September 2018

Another late empties post… I’m honestly surprised my empties from Q3 survived the move! As usual most of these are repeats so I’ll have those bunched together at the end. I am such a creature of habit. I don’t have too many new or different empties this go-around, I didn’t really experiment much with skincare or anything over the summer. So, let’s check out what I emptied last quarter!

Skincare

Le Petit Marseiliais | White Peach & Nectarine Extra Gentle Shower Gel

I don’t mind the formula of the Le Petit Marseiliais body washes however I detest this scent. I like peach scented products but this one smells really fake to me. Would I repurchase it? Nope. However, I’d purchase other scents. I’m using a citrus one right now that I like a lot better.

Vichy | Aqualia Thermal Gel Cream

I got this as part of an Influenster campaign and I really enjoyed using it. It played nice with my oily skin and didn’t lead to any extra oiliness when I used it in the mornings. Would I repurchase it? I would!

Garnier | Skinactive Moisture Bomb

This is another light moisturizer that felt similar to the Vichy one. If I recall correctly it also did not lead to any excess oiliness and is quite affordable. Would I repurchase it? I would!

Haircare

Garnier | Whole Blends Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter Smoothing Conditioner

I picked up the Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter variation of the Garnier Whole Blends Shampoo and Conditioner in hopes I would find something to help with my frizz. While I don’t not like this, I’m not particularly wowed by it either. Would I repurchase it? Well.. I did because I needed conditioner and I still had the shampoo left (I picked up a smaller one) but I don’t think I’d get it again. I need to do some research and spend more time picking something better now that I have more time.

Nexxus | Comb Thru Finishing Mist

I got this in some sort of subscription box or something like that. It was a nice hairspray to use with a light hold to it. It was also nice to have for traveling since it is a deluxe sample size. Would I repurchase it? Maybe, I’m not too picky about hairspray so I just grab whatever is on sale.

The Repeats

I’m not going to go into detail on these products as I’ve emptied them many times over the course of writing these posts. They are all staples in my routine and yes, I would repurchase them all!
