MOTD: Birthday Party Makeup

Though my birthday was a little over a week ago I waited a bit to have my party. I just had a small get together at my place but I still wanted to put together a special makeup look for the occasion. Since I purchased the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette earlier this month I decided to focus my makeup look on that palette. It was only my second time using the palette but it definitely seems to have the same formula that I know and love from previous Naked palettes.

Highlight: The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer & Kat Von D Alchemist Palette in Pink Opal
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original). Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette – Caution (transition), Juicy (crease/transition & under eye), Bing (crease, outer-v & under eye), Turn On (inner lid) & Ambitious (centre lid). Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Alkaline (water line). Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash (lashes).
Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Ash Brown
Lips: Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Scrooge

I really love how all the pinks that I used in this makeup look came together. I particularly liked the way the shade Juicy added some brightness to the makeup look. It was a great shade blended into one of the darker mattes.
