It’s over!! If you listen closely you will hear the cheers of many, many bloggers who, like me, partook in the National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo) Challenge this month. Given that I basically didn’t blog at all over the summer and fall due to my crazy life this was a bit of a wake up call. Despite being less busy AND not being sick this year for it, I struggled real hard. But I made it so I just wanted to take a moment and acknowledge that and chat about the lessons learned this year.
ORGANIZATION. I severely lacked that this year. Although I made a plan ahead of time, I did next to no pre-blogging and flew by the seat of my pants all month. I don’t recommend that approach, being ahead of the game is always better. Every night I was either blogging for that day or for the next day and I just feel like I could have done better had I been prepared. Also, being ill-prepared during the months where daylight is extremely limited also poses it’s own challenge. I should have done more on weekends.
Posts that I’m most proud of…
All and all, I would 100% do this challenge again but… I definitely would try harder to be a week ahead at all times, or at least have some spare posts for days where I just don’t have time to blog.
Did you participate in NaBloPoMo this month? If not, would you consider it? Let me know in the comments below.
xoxo,
Robyn
This year definitely felt oddly hellish! But good on you for getting it done. I always love reading people’s thoughts after the fact because sometimes you have no idea how they’re feeling behind the scenes!

Yes! I agree it’s so hard to tell what’s going on behind the posts. Definitely was a struggle this year though. I haven’t posted this week at all because I’m just burnt out. It’s been a crazy few months! But I’m glad I survived the challenge again 😊
