#TBT: Recreating Urban Decay Vice 3 Makeup Look

The Canadian Beauty Blogger ‘Shop Your Stash’ Theme of the month got me digging through my makeup drawers, remembering old content from my early blogging days and really got my creative juices flowing. When I picked up my Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette and decided to give this neglected palette more use this winter I immediately thought of a makeup look I featured in my first year of blogging. I feel like my blogging and makeup skills have both grown since then so I thought I’d take a stab at recreating it.

First let’s take a look at the original makeup look that I posted back in 2015!

It’s funny because this look packed more of a colourful punch in person. Anyways… let’s look at my recreation! I did end up using a few different products than the original look and added a few updates to it.

Blush: Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Fetish
Bronzer: Too Faced Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer
Highlight: Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit (Gleam) – Crushed Pearl
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original). Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette – Truth (transition), Alchemy (crease & under eye), Alien (lid), Vanity (crease & under eye). Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Psychedelic Sister (water line). YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils (lashes).
Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Ash Brown
Lips: Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Turn On

Essentially what I updated in this look was the addition of purple to the eyes and I changed up my highlight to a pink one to go with the rest of the look. I definitely love the way the pinks and purples work together and need to remember to do this makeup look more often. This used to be one of my signature makeup looks!
