I picked up the Huda Beauty Amethyst Obsessions late last year because well… it’s purple! I’d been wanting to try Huda Beauty eyeshadows for awhile so I thought I would start with one of her smaller ones before diving right in. So let’s take a closer look at this palette, shall we?
The packaging is sleek and cardboard. It’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be, it nearly fits in the palm of my hand!
The Huda Beauty Amethyst Obsessions Palette has nine eyeshadows – 6 shimmery shades and 3 matte shades. The mattes blend nicely and are buildable. The shimmer shades are pigmented and apply best when you use your fingers.
My favourite shades in the Huda Beauty Amethyst Obsessions Palette are the 2nd one and the 5th one. The shades unfortunately don’t have names… doesn’t affect performance but I like it when my eyeshadows have names. I used this palette earlier this year in my Holiday Look: New Year’s Eve post if you want to see it in action.
Have you tried a Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette? Let me know in the comments below!

I have the mauve palette and I do like it but notice glitter fall-out on my face at the end of the day. I have this palette on my wishlist.

Oh, that’s disappointing! I don’t recall experiencing that with this palette, but maybe it is your primer? I get fall-out when I apply eyeshadows but not usually after I’ve applied them. I really like this one, purples are tricky to formulate and these are pretty great!
