Refresh and Reset Luxe Box 2019

Refresh and Reset Luxe Box

Back in 2017 I shared with you the contents of the Refresh and Reset Luxe Box that my husband surprised me with. My husband decided to surprise me with another one this year so I thought it would be fun to share it with you guys again. The Refresh and Reset Luxe Box is a special deal that American Express cardholders can purchase. The box comes out annually, I believe, and is $20 CAD. This year’s box had 3 full sized items in it and 4 deluxe size samples. Only 5000 boxes were available for purchase this year. They have sold out but if they interest you and you’re an AMEX cardholder, be sure to keep an eye out for it around the end if February next year!

Refresh and Reset Luxe Box

Makeup

Refresh and Reset Luxe Box Cougar 6 Shades of Nude

Cougar | 6 Shades of Nude

Of course I’m going to start with the eyeshadow palette that was included in the Refresh and Reset Luxe Box! This is the Cougar 6 Shades of Nude Eyeshadow Contour Set which includes 6 neutral shimmery eyeshadows. While I don’t think  it could be used alone as it has no matte shades, I’m excited to try it out in conjunction with other eyeshadows. It swatches impressively so it will be interesting to see how it works on the lids.

Refresh and Reset Luxe Box Laritzy Dew Pot

Laritzy | Dew Pot in Utopia

The Laritzy Dew Pot in the shade Utopia is a cream based rose gold highlighter. To be honest, I don’t really do cream highlighters as they don’t play nice with my oily skin, but I’ll give it a go. It is meant to add a subtle sheen that can be built up.

Refresh and Reset Luxe Box Mascaras

NARS | Climax Mascara

I don’t think I’ve tried a NARS mascara yet so I’m excited to see that their Climax Mascara was included in the Refresh and Reset Luxe Box. It’s meant to add an instant curl to the lashes, along with fullness and maximum volume.

MAC | In Extreme Dimension Lash

MAC’s In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara was also included in the box. It is said to be a lightweight mascara that adds volume, curl and length to the lashes. Looking forward to giving this a try as well, I enjoy trying out different mascaras. Deluxe samples are a great way to find new favourites.

Skincare

Refresh and Reset Luxe Box Skincare

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive

The La Roche-Posay Toleraine Sensitive prebotic moisturizer was also included in the Refresh and Reset Luxe Box. It is supposed to help repair the physical and microbial skin barriers. I enjoy trying out new daily moisturizers so I will be sure to try this one out soon!

Elizabeth Arden | Superstart Skin Renewal Booster

This product was included in the 2017 version of the Refresh and Reset Luxe Box as well. This product claims to work holistically to restore your skin’s surface layer by strengthening it’s ability to repair and renew itself. It can be used both morning and night applied to clean skin, prior to applying serum and/or moisturizer. I’ve had more of a focus on skincare this year so I’m looking forward to trying this out again!

Refresh and Reset Luxe Box Voesh Pedi in a Box

Voesh | Pedi in a Box (Waterless)

I’m not sure why this product is called waterless as two of the steps require water, but I am looking forward to pampering myself with this 3-in-1 Pedi in a Box. Each packet contains enough product for one pedicure. I’ll be saving this product for when the warmer weather comes around. I can’t wait for sandal season! This winter feels like it has been the worst in a long time.

Overall, the products curated for the 2019 Refresh and Reset Luxe Box are great! There really is just the one product (the highlighter) that I feel lukewarm about, otherwise, I look forward to using the rest! I’m currently not subscribed to any beauty boxes at this point. Luxe Box (powered by Top Box) does have a regular box that they ship every 3 months for $26 CAD per box.

What was the last beauty box that you purchased? Let me know in the comments below!

xoxo,

Robyn
