Coral Manicure: Essence Va-Va-Voom & Indian Summer

Essence Va-Va-Voom: Pantone Coral

I shared some coral makeup products a few weeks ago as it is Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2019 so today I thought I would share a coral manicure. The two nail polishes that I chose to combine for this manicure are both from my favourite budget beauty brand: Essence.

Essence Va-Va-Voom: Pantone Coral

Products Used:

OPI Chip Skip
Essence The Gel Nail Polish Base Coat
Essence The Gel Nail Polish in Va-Va-Voom (2 coats)
Essence The Gel Nail Polish in Indian Summer (1 coat)
Essence The Gel Nail Polish Top Coat

Essence Va-Va-Voom: Pantone Coral

For this manicure I used the saran wrap method. This means that I painted the first shade (Va-Va-Voom) and let it dry completely. After that I applied the next shade (Indian Summer) and then quickly dab it with balled up saran wrap to lift some of it up off the nail. It’s usually easier to go one finger at a time rather than trying to do a whole hand at a time with the second shade. I really love the way that this coral manicure turned out. I had considered adding a bit of silver as a third shade but I am glad that I left it the way that it is.
