With each new season it’s fun to look through my makeup collection and think about which lipsticks I think will define the next few months. Spring typically inspires us to start wearing brighter colours (even when the forecast is still a bit cold and snowy) so it’s no surprise that it’s a common theme with my top 5 choices for spring lipsticks this year.
NARS | Audacious Lipstick in Janet
I’ve already been wearing NARS Audacious Lipstick in the shade Janet a lot this spring. It’s a beautiful magenta shade that I love wearing. It actually appears to now be discontinued much to my disappointment so I will definitely cherish wearing this beautiful lipstick that is so comfortable to wear.
Bite Beauty | Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Pickled Ginger
It should be no surprise I’ve added Bite Beauty’s Pickled Ginger to this list. I’ve recently featured it in TWO spring makeup looks (Coral Makeup Look & “Realistic” Spring Makeup Look). It’s such a pretty colour and just a joy to wear all-around.
Tarte | Tarteist Lip Paint in Adorbs
I had to feature a bright liquid lipstick and Tarte’s Adorbs has always been a favourite for spring. It’s so bright and fun to wear. I love pairing it with both colourful makeup looks and very, very minimal looks to add a little pop of colour to the face.
Too Faced | Melted Latex Lipstick in Love U, Mean It
Too Faced’s Melted Latex Lipstick in the shade Love U, Mean It is a newer addition to my collection. They appear to be discontinued and this one I actually found at Winners so it’s not all that surprising. Love U, Mean It looks like a pretty shade of pink that has a shiny glossy finish to it. I tend to wear glosses a bit more in the summer vs. other seasons so I’m sure I’ll be reaching for this one lots!
Fenty Beauty | Stunna Lip Paint in Uncuffed
And the wild card… as much as I love wearing brights during the spring, I had to throw in a more neutral shade! Fenty Beauty’s Stunna Lip Paint is a beautiful shade of mauve which is an all around beautiful lipstick to pair with a variety of makeup looks.
