It has been a hot minute since my last blog post. When the warmer weather starts to come around I wear makeup less and less, and spend a great deal of time outside. However as I was packing for my next adventure I thought I’d share with you the contents of my weekend getaway makeup bag! The trip I’m about to embark on is a short one. I will be staying in a tent, however, I’m close to a town and wanted to pack some makeup for evenings out. So let’s take a look at what made the cut!

My goal with packing was to have the fewest products to create a few different looks, while not taking up much space.

The photo above contains all go-to products that I have mentioned time and time again. It only made sense to pack some tried & true favourites:

• L’Oreal Pro-Matte Foundation
• Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
• Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer
• Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Blotting Powder

I mainly tried to pick products that would go with anything as with any adventure most of it is unplanned:

• Makeup Revolution Matte Blush in Beloved
• Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in Ash Brown
• Too Faced Damn Girl! Mascara (the mascara I’ve been using lately)
• Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
• The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer

The Elf Cosmetics Rose Gold Palette is fairly new to my collection but I have been enjoying it. The palette itself is quite small and sleek and contains a versatile enough range of shades. To add some additional colour I picked two mini liquid lipsticks (Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Mother & Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Queen B). I picked liquid lipsticks as my makeup will mainly be in a hot car and I wanted to avoid melting.
