Happy St Patrick’s Day! I actually was out celebrating a night ahead of the real day so I thought I’d share with you the St Patrick’s Day makeup look that I created. Every time I wear green eye shadow I remember why I love it and wish that I wore it more often. I really need to do it more often than just on St Patrick’s Day. While my plans tonight are a bit quieter (I’m going with the husband to see a comedy show), I think I’ll do another green eye makeup look anyways. Why not?

Holiday Look: Valentine’s Day
Hi guys! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought it was appropriate to bust out my holiday looks series again. For today’s look I decided to create a look using my Valentine’s Day present from my husband last year (Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette) and put together a festive pink look! When I think of Valentine’s Day I just want to slather myself in pink! My apologies in advance for the photos being a bit out of focus, this is apparently what happens when I try to squeeze in a photoshoot before work… But, I think you can at least see the basics of the look!
St. Patrick’s Day Makeup for Every Day
Hi guys! Since St. Patrick’s Day is a workday if you work a 9-5 Monday to Friday job and you’re not on March Break I thought I would do a look that allows you to incorporate some green into your look without going over-the-top. All I did was one of my typical matte natural eye looks but added a pop of green under the eye. I’m really happy with how it turned out! If you’re looking for something a little more green, I did post a more green eye look a few months ago here!
Products Used:
Primer: Nivea Post Shave Balm in Sensitive
Foundation: L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Classic Ivory

I think this is a very work appropriate, yet fun look to do if you are stuck at work for St. Patrick’s Day! You could really add a pop of any colour to this look for any occasion. I personally love using purple under the eye with a neutral look like this (huge surprise, I know!).
Do you have any fun looks planned for St. Patrick’s Day? Let me know in the comments down below!
xoxo,
Robyn

Valentines Day Inspired Look
Hi guys! With Valentine’s Day being tomorrow I thought it would be fun to do a festive look for the occasion. Since pink is such a prominent colour for Valentine’s Day I decided to do a very pink look using the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette with other pink accents throughout the face. Christmas Hauliday
Hi guys! Today I’ve got a quick overview of the beauty items that I either received for Christmas, or purchased during the Christmas Holidays!
First up we have the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette which I received as a gift! I started eying up this palette after the first time I saw it. Growing up I have always been a Gwen Stefani fan. She is so talented and always looks fantastic so a palette that she collaborated on has my name written all over it. It’s a beautiful neutral palette with a few pops of colour. I’ll be going into more detail on this palette later this week! Continue reading
MOTD: New Years Eve Inspired Look
Hi guys! I can’t believe that 2015 is close to coming to an end. When I look back at the year, there isn’t a lot that jumps out at me aside from starting this blog. I really think that this blog was the highlight of the year because it was the moment that I decided to take a chance and do something that I love. I’m not going to get into my resolutions in this post, as that will be it’s own post, but next year I’m going to aim higher that’s for sure.
I thought it would be fun to do a New Years Eve Inspired look. If you haven’t already decided what you’re doing for makeup tonight, maybe this will help get the wheels turning! Continue reading
The Christmas Tag
Hi guys! I saw this tag on BrightEyeBlog and thought I would get into the Christmas spirit and give it a go! If you haven’t checked out her blog, please do check it out!
1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
It definitely would be Elf and then the Grinch (the Jim Carey one) Continue reading
Red Lipstick Round-Up
With the holiday season in full swing I find myself reaching for my red lipsticks more frequently than usual. To me, red lipstick is a staple in my collection but I don’t find myself wearing them every day. With my fair skin, I find that reds look dramatic on me. I do like the way they look but just not for the average day. Continue reading
Holiday Look #4
Hi guys! Welcome to another holiday inspired look! This is the look that I wore to my husband’s work Christmas party last Saturday. My inspiration was to do something that had gold and sparkle in it. Of course, given the nature of this event I wanted to add a red lip as well. Since I did a matte true-red lip in my last holiday post, I wanted to do something a bit different this time. I chose Urban Decay’s Catfight since it leans more on the pink side, but still has some red to it. I also thought the a bold red lip might have been a bit too much with my red dress. All in all, I’m very happy with how this look turned out! Continue reading
Holiday Look #3
Hi guys! I mentioned in this week’s Snapshot Sunday that I had two Christmas Parties that I attended this weekend. My intention was to post these before I left on both nights. However, with getting ready being the process that it is and being short on time, that didn’t happen. So, I am going to post them this week, starting with the first one (Friday’s) today. My apologies in advance for the less than ideal lighting, but I got ready in the evening so the sun was long gone by that time. Continue reading
