Morphe Haul

Morphe Haul

A few weeks ago I received an order that I had placed from Morphe! They recently (within the last few months?) opened up a Canadian website as they now have a warehouse here that they ship from. This was amazing news as Morphe’s shipping costs to Canada were generally pretty steep. On top of this they had a 20% sale for Canada Day so I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to order a couple things I had my eye on. I just love their eye shadow and their brushes so much! The quality is fantastic and the prices are so affordable and even more so now that they ship from IN Canada. Wooo! Continue reading

MOTD: Fun with the Morphe 35O Palette

Morphe 35O Makeup Look

Hi guys! I’ve had the Morphe 35O Palette for about six months now and I realized that I haven’t done a single look using it here on the blog! Today, we are going to fix that! The Morphe 35O is quite possibly one of Morphe’s most popular makeup palettes. There was a good chunk of time where if you wanted this beauty you had to stalk social media and then be quick to order. Thankfully today it is easier to come by and I actually picked mine up from a Showcase store in my local mall. If you love warm colours, this palette was made for you!

Morphe Brushes Haul

P1010789.jpg

Hi guys! Today I have a very Jaclyn Hill inspired Morphe Brushes haul for you! I decided a little while ago that I needed to add more makeup brushes to my collection to expand my makeup abilities and make it easier to do different eye looks. I watch a lot of Jaclyn Hill tutorials so I made a point of jotting down a few brushes that she was using and looked like they would fill the void in my makeup brush holder. I already had a few Morphe Brushes so I knew the brushes would be high quality. Continue reading

Smoky Purple Look using the Morphe 35W Palette

P1010406

Hi guys! Today I wanted to share with you another look that I did using the Morphe 35W Palette. I can’t get over how much I love this palette. There is just so much you can do with it and the price is incredible! Unlike my last look which was a very warm based look, this one uses grey and purples.

Products Used:
Foundation: L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Classic Ivory
Concealer: Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer in Ivory
Powder: Anastasia Beverly Hills Banana Powder (undereye) and MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light (all over face)
Blush: Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush in Fetish
Contour: Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn
Highlight: Too Faced Candelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo (both shades mixed together)
Eyes: Morphe 35W Palette (See picture above for numerical references as the shades are not named) 1 (crease/transition), 2 (crease/centre of lid and under eye), 3 (outer crease/outer half of lid and under eye), 4 (a little bit on the outer corner), 5 (inner half of lid and under eye).  Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Smoke (water line). Dior Show Maximizer (primer on lashes). Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (lashes).
Brows: Milani Easybrow Automatic Pencil in Taupe and L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper in Light to Medium
Lips: MAC Up the Amp

Given how much I love the colour purple, I was really happy with this look. The deepening shades of purple gave the look a smoky feel without being too dramatic. Blending is very important to achieving the seamless transition between the purples. For my crease I used the Sigma E40, for the lid I used the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush and under my eye I used the Sigma E30. I went back in and blended out the shadow on my lid with the E40.

Morphe 35W Palette

P1010015

Hi guys! I recently acquired the Morphe 35W Palette. I purchased it from HauteLook but you can also get it on the Morphe website as well (where it is currently on sale). It is a beautiful 35 colour warm based palette that is perfect for fall looks. The main reason I went for this palette was to tide me over while I wait for the 35O to come back in stock. With that said, I have been enjoying this palette immensely and am glad that I purchased it. I think I have been using it almost every day since I got it since it is so versatile.

Here is the look that I did with the palette….

This is a great palette as it has such a variety of warm shades in it. The possibilities for different looks seems endless. The shimmery shades seem to be the most pigmented, but I have had no complaints with any of the shades since I started using the palette. I definitely plan on purchasing more Morphe palettes in the future based on how great this one is.
