November Birchbox Unboxing

P1010675

Hi guys! I received my second Birchbox today which is for the month of November. It was a nice surprise when the mailman dropped it off because last I checked it was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. This month was another month of excellent choices!

Here is what I got in my November Box:

P1010681

Temple Spa | La La Lagoon Aromatic Bath & Shower Gel

This is a gel cleanser that is infused with mint, peppermint and basil. I haven’t tried it out yet but the description sounds promising! I haven’t smelled it myself yet because I am currently stuffed up.

LOC | One & Done Shadow Stick – Impress Me

I am so excited about this one, I had the chance to pick this sample for my box and I’ve been eagerly awaiting it’s arrival. This is a full size shadow stick that Tati collaborated on. I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before, but I absolutely adore Tati. This is a beautiful bronze shade and it seriously doesn’t budge. I swatched it on my hand earlier and after it dried I could rub it with my finger and it didn’t move.

Parlour by Jeff Chastain | Touchable Curl Cream

I am a big fan of using curl creams on my curly hair so I’m very excited about this. It is described as an innovative formula that combines the silky texture of a serum with the light hold of a cream. I’m very excited to try this one out!

theBalm cosmetics | Frat Boy

This is another product that I’m really excited about. It is a eye shadow/blush combo in a beautiful light pink shade. I haven’t tried any of theBalm’s eye shadow/blushes so I’m excited to give it a go. It feels silky smooth and is pigmented.

BioRepublic | Pomegranate Crush Illuminating Sheet Mask

Yet another product that I’m excited about! I love a good face mask and this one is infused with botanical extracts and is a fiber mask that promises to brighten skin and even tone. With winter fast approaching, I feel like my skin is going to love this. I already feel my usually oily skin getting drier.

Here is a swatch of the LOC One & Done Shadow Stick in Impress Me and theBalm’s Frat Boy:

I feel like I keep saying this, but please excuse the lighting, the sun did not come out at all today!! It’s been gloomy all day and we got our first snow fall last night (approx. 5-6 centimetres).

Anyways, my first impression of this box is very positive. I feel like the initial survey that I did when I signed up for Birchbox was really taken into account. This box really does feel customized to my needs.

Did any of you receive a November Birchbox? Let me know what you received in the comments down below! What were your favourites?

xoxo,

Robyn
