Hi guys! I recently purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Self-Made Palette as part of my Birthday Haul! As soon as I got this I couldn’t wait to start playing with it since I haven’t used eyeshadows from their line before. This palette is so creamy, blendable and pigmented. So far I am very impressed!
Birthday Makeup Featuring the Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette
Hi guys! As some of you know, yesterday was my birthday, so I wanted to do something fun with my makeup for the occasion. I pretty much lusted after the Vice 4 Palette by Urban Decay the second that I saw it. It’s so breathtaking. The shadow that called out the most to me was Flame so my look focuses on that shade. I saw Tati use it in her first impression of the palette and that alone pretty much sold this palette to me.
Birthday Haul!!!
Hi guys! Today I turn the big 2-6 and I am a little amazed that another year has gone by already. It feels like just yesterday I was in Saint Luca on my honeymoon celebrating my 25th birthday a year ago on this very day. 25 was a great year… my husband and I added Dex to our family, we started going to camp more, and I started the blog! My parents spoiled me this year with a Sephora.ca shopping spree so I thought I would share with you the goodies that I scored! I ordered them ahead of time so that everything would be here on time. I’ll be rocking some of these later tonight for my birthday celebrations.

A beautiful highlight created by the stunning Jaclyn Hill. It`s taken awhile to decide if this would work with my fair skin, and I have come to the conclusion that it will. It gives the face such a uniquely peachy glow. - Colourpop Lippie Stix in Grunge
The newly launched 90`s collection has me all kinds of intrigued as a 90`s kid myself.This plum based brown shade looks so perfect for fall. - Makeup Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer in the Mattifying Primer Formula
I normally have oily skin so anything that promises to be mattifying always has me intrigued. Plus this comes in a travel size which reduces the cost when trying out a new product. - Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I’ve been dying to try this foundation ever since I saw so many positive reviews on YouTube. However, buying foundation online scares me a bit. I’m going to wait until I can actually get to a Sephora so I can properly colour match it. - Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in 1993
Another 90’s inspired brown? Yes. I’m digging this trend for fall and this formula also looks promising. I love the regular Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks and I’m hopeful that their new matte line delivers the same results. - Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Ayesha
After trying the Colourpop Ultra Matte formula, I would like to try Kat Von D’s liquid lipsticks next. I love lavender lipsticks and this one looks gorgeous. - Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Cosmic
This metallic white eye shadow has had me intrigued since Urban Decay layered it over a purple base on their Tumblr account. It is absolutely stunning and looks like it can change any look since it has a colour shift. Urban Decay eye shadows also happen to be another favourite formula of mine.
