I had planned on doing a Mani Monday post today but since I’ve been sick I wasn’t really motivated to paint my nails. However, as today is my birthday I thought I’d do the birthday tag instead!

Today (November 6th)

  2.) How old are you turning? (Or if your birthday recently passed, how old did you turn?)

I turn 28 today!

3.) What was you’re favourite present that you’ve ever received?

To be honest – nothing really sticks out in my mind. I’m sure I’ve received lots of great presents over the years though. Nothing really beats a nice night out for dinner with my husband though 😊 Continue reading →

Birthday Makeup Featuring the Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette

Hi guys! As some of you know, yesterday was my birthday, so I wanted to do something fun with my makeup for the occasion. I pretty much lusted after the Vice 4 Palette by Urban Decay the second that I saw it. It’s so breathtaking. The shadow that called out the most to me was Flame so my look focuses on that shade. I saw Tati use it in her first impression of the palette and that alone pretty much sold this palette to me.

Birthday Haul!!!

Hi guys! Today I turn the big 2-6 and I am a little amazed that another year has gone by already. It feels like just yesterday I was in Saint Luca on my honeymoon celebrating my 25th birthday a year ago on this very day. 25 was a great year… my husband and I added Dex to our family, we started going to camp more, and I started the blog! My parents spoiled me this year with a Sephora.ca shopping spree so I thought I would share with you the goodies that I scored! I ordered them ahead of time so that everything would be here on time. I’ll be rocking some of these later tonight for my birthday celebrations.
