Hi guys! I don’t know about you but I am ready for Spring! Maybe its the random snowfalls that we have had lately (which are unfortunately a normal part of “Spring” in Thunder Bay) but I feel like I’m wearing a lot of bright makeup lately as if I’m trying to force nicer Spring weather.
Hi guys! Today I thought I would show you the makeup that I am wearing today. I wanted to go neutral because I was planning a very casual outfit (it’s Friday!) but then the blue shadow in the Gwen Stefani Palette jumped out at me. So… I added a pop of colour under my eye! I’m happy with how it turned out!
Hi guys! Yesterday was Family Day in Canada so I decided to take the day off to spend the day with my husband and post today instead. If I had posted I was going to do a MOTD post, but I didn’t even end up wearing much makeup anyways.
I had purchased a red knitted tunic on Sunday which I was planning on wearing today since my husband and I have an event to go to tonight and it really made me want to play with warm eye shadow. I also think that now that my hair isn’t red anymore I feel this compulsive need to add more warmth to my look. Maybe this is because I’m so cool-toned? Who knows?
Hi guys! I have another holiday inspired look to share with you today. Since green is a fairly prominent colour during the holiday season I wanted to do a look where the main focus is green eye shadow. It definitely has colour to it so it is not a neutral look, but I don’t think it is over-the-top or dramatic either. I feel like it could be worn to both formal or casual holiday parties. Hi guys! I normally post a Mani Monday post on Monday’s however my nails are such a sad state of affairs right now. They are cracking and peeling, so I’m giving them a week of nothing but cuticle oil. However, since I love updating the blog, I thought I would post my makeup of the day instead! Today’s look is just a simple copper/brown look that I did using the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette with pink lips! It’s a work day so I went for a neutral look with a pop of colour.
