I thought it would be fun to break out my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette and do a look slightly different than I normally would do with it (usually I just want to slap Bootycall all over my lid… perfection!). I also thought it would be fun to finally try out some samples I got in recent Ipsy bags that I haven’t got the chance to use yet.
So let’s just get into it!

I realized it’s been awhile since I’ve done a pop of purple under my eye, which is weird considering that’s my favourite look, so I thought I would do just that today!
Hi guys! I’m back with another Makeup of the Day post! I noticed today that when I use my Urban Decay Naked Palette I usually use it more for very light, almost non-existent makeup. I will use a few of the darker shades to add depth to the outer-v of my eye but that’s about it. So, today I decided to venture into just the darker side of the palette and do a warm, darker look using this beautiful neutral palette. I also decided to add a few more products in the mix that I’ve acquired over the past month or so that I haven’t gotten around to testing yet.
Hi guys! Today I thought I would show you the makeup that I am wearing today. I wanted to go neutral because I was planning a very casual outfit (it’s Friday!) but then the blue shadow in the Gwen Stefani Palette jumped out at me. So… I added a pop of colour under my eye! I’m happy with how it turned out!
Hi guys! I have another holiday inspired look to share with you today. Since green is a fairly prominent colour during the holiday season I wanted to do a look where the main focus is green eye shadow. It definitely has colour to it so it is not a neutral look, but I don’t think it is over-the-top or dramatic either. I feel like it could be worn to both formal or casual holiday parties. Hi guys! I have another purple look to show you today! I received the Kat Von D Metal Crush Eye Shadow in Danzig and the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Ayesha this past week from one of my best friends so I was really inspired to do a purple look using them!
Hi guys! I normally post a Mani Monday post on Monday’s however my nails are such a sad state of affairs right now. They are cracking and peeling, so I’m giving them a week of nothing but cuticle oil. However, since I love updating the blog, I thought I would post my makeup of the day instead! Today’s look is just a simple copper/brown look that I did using the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette with pink lips! It’s a work day so I went for a neutral look with a pop of colour.

Concealer: Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer in Ivory
Powder: Anastasia Beverly Hills Banana Powder (undereye) and MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light (all over face)
Blush: Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Candy Glow
Bronzer/Contour: Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn
Highlight: Too Faced Candelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo (both shades mixed together)
Eyes: Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette – Salted Caramel (transition shade/crease), Marzipan (inner half of lid, and under eye on inner half), Haute Chocolate (outer half of lid and under eye on outer half), Hazelnut (lightly mixed into crease), Triple Fudge (just a small amount in the outer crease for definition), and White Chocolate (brow bone).
