Hi guys! I posted the other day that I picked up the Maybelline Lash Sensational in Blackest Black when I went through my most recent Drugstore Haul. I’ve been testing it for the last few days and I’m ready to share my thoughts about it. I’m happy to report that this mascara is worth the hype!

The wand is plastic, average sized and is curved. It catches most of my lashes when I go to apply it and was easy to use. I did make a bit of a mess at first because I was so used to using the tiny wand that comes with the L’Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara.

After one coat I was pretty impressed, but I normally do a second coat on my top lashes so I kept going and the results were amazing. My lashes looked so long and voluminous! I normally am not that fond of my eye lashes but I absolutely loved how they looked with this mascara applied. It really reminded me of my favourite mascara, Too Faced Better than Sex. I’m going to have to do a huge comparison post when I get around to re-purchasing it.

The pictures do not do this mascara justice. I put this on about 7.5 hours ago from when I am writing this post and it still looks flawless. It hasn’t flaked off or lost any of it’s volume.

If you haven’t tried this mascara I strongly recommend it! It’s so inexpensive so there isn’t much to lose! I found mine on sale a few days ago at Shopper’s Drugmart.
