August Favourites: Makeup & More!

August Favourites: Makeup & More!

The air has gotten noticeably chillier so it must be time to share my favourites from the month of August! It was another hot month so my favourites are quite short and sweet as I didn’t play with much makeup. However, the upside of the chilly air is that I have been wearing more makeup lately and therefor will have more to share with you this month! Let’s dive into the products that I had on repeat during the month of August!

August Favourites: Makeup & More!

Makeup

August Favourites - Makeup Revolution Constellation Palette, Too Faced Queen B Liquid Lipstick & Morphe Eyeshadow Primer

Makeup Revolution Constellation Palette

I wore the heck out of this palette last month and featured it in two blog posts (Purple Monochromatic LookMakeup Revolution Constellation Palette | Review). It is a super fun palette that is both great to work with AND inexpensive. I love when an inexpensive palette is so versatile!

Too Faced | Melted Matte Lipstick in Queen B

I wore a lot of colourful makeup looks last month so I generally pair them with a more neutral lipstick. Queen B was used fairly frequently as it is a beautiful neutral mauve and is long-wearing! If I’m going somewhere I usually opt for a longer wearing lipstick to avoid having to fill my purse with lipsticks that will take months to find their way back to my vanity.

Morphe | Eyelid Primer

I’ve been using this eyeshadow primer religiously ever since I compared it to the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion vs. Morphe Eyelid Primer) and found that I love it just as much! It is super inexpensive and if you like the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion you will probably like this one too!

August Favourites - Misc

Wet n Wild | Crease Brush

I ordered this eyeshadow brush from Orabel as I could not pass up the $1.99 CAD price tag. I’d heard good things about this brush online and they are all true! I’ve been loving this brush for applying eyeshadow to my crease. I think I may order a few more next time I place an Orabel order because it has become a staple brush in my routine.

Coppertone | Clearly Sheer Whipped Sunscreen

SPF is such an important part of my routine, especially if I’m going to be spending a lot of time outside like I was this summer. However, I haaaaaate feeling sticky after applying sunscreen and dislike spray sunscreens even more. This suncreen comes out whipped (as the name implies) like shaving cream and is so easy to blend into your skin. Best of all, you do not feel sticky after applying it! I find the texture fast to use without making it messy. Is it just me or is it impossible to apply spray sunscreen without staining your clothes?!

What were your favourites in the month of August? Let me know in the comments below!
