It’s that time of the year again, the annual Sephora VIB sale for the fall season has nearly come and gone. I initially wasn’t planning on picking up much but this sale always falls around my birthday so between treating myself and a few gift cards I ended up with three hauls this go around. I didn’t make a wish list this time around but I’m quite happy with the products I chose, even if my husband was stuck browsing at Sephora longer than he would have liked, haha!
The objective the first time around was to pick up some skincare. I’ve been LOVING Drunk Elephant this year, however, I thought I’d try out Sephora’s own brand for skincare. It’s significantly cheaper and the reviews seemed pretty good online.
Sephora Collection | Super Matte Moisturizer
I purchased this to be my daytime moisturizer. I have very oily skin all year round so I’m hopeful that this will keep me both matte and hydrated as we get into the dry winter season.
Sephora Collection | Firming Sleeping Cream
I love using firming products for my bedtime routine so I picked up this as it is supposed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Anti-aging products have always been a part of my routine and while I recognize they can’t perform miracles, I like being pro-active.
Sephora Collection | Ultra Glow Serum
I really enjoyed adding a vitamin C serum to my routine when I was using primarily Drunk Elephant products. I’m hoping that Sephora’s Ultra Glow Serum will be a suitable replacement.
Juice Beauty | Green Apple Peel
I’ve used a sample of this in the past and loved it. It really leaves the skin looking and feeling fresh and renewed. It has really helped with uneven texture and keeping my pores nice and clean. I generally use it twice a week before bed.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Collection | Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 1
I was super on the fence about this one as there has been a lot of uproar about the pro palette launches. The timing and the sheer volume of products at once is a bit iffy, however, drama-aside, I really am drawn to these shades and I’ve always enjoyed ABH’s eye shadow formula. Will I pick up all 3? Absolutely not, but purples are my thing and this palette has no shortage of them! I’ve been enjoying playing with it so far!
While browsing on the Sephora website the discounted price of the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipsticks caught my eye. I love their formula so I had to order a couple. The selection online was picked over quite a bit but I grabbed the shades Sake (dusty mauve) and Rhubarb (rich plum rose).
Finally, with gift cards in hand I ventured into Sephora to make the most of them during the 20% off sale. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but ended up getting three gorgeous lipsticks.
NARS | Powermatte Lip Pigment in Rock With You
I’ve been into deep burgundy shades lately and had been meaning to pick up one of the NARS Powermattes for awhile now. I’m really excited to start wearing this one!
Huda Beauty | Power Bullet Matte Lipstick in Third Date
The Huda Beauty lipsticks caught my eye during one of my laps around Sephora. After much deliberation I decided to bring home Third Date (a warm toned rosewood) shade. I love matte lipsticks so I can’t wait to put it to the test.
Bite Beauty | Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Liquorice
Yes, another Amuse Bouche Lipstick! There was a way better selection at my Sephora than online so I picked up the shade Liquorice, a stunning oxblood shade.
Another fall VIB Sale in the books! Did you pick up anything? Let me know in the comments below!
