Hi guys! I was going through my eye shadow palette drawer when yet again I was inspired by the Urban Decay Electric Palette. I sometimes go quite awhile without touching this palette but lately I can’t get enough of it! It even made the list for my June Favourites. I generally use it to add a pop of bright colour so today I thought I would do a neutral eye look with a gradient blue/purple under eye.
Hi guys! I’m back with another Makeup of the Day post! I noticed today that when I use my Urban Decay Naked Palette I usually use it more for very light, almost non-existent makeup. I will use a few of the darker shades to add depth to the outer-v of my eye but that’s about it. So, today I decided to venture into just the darker side of the palette and do a warm, darker look using this beautiful neutral palette. I also decided to add a few more products in the mix that I’ve acquired over the past month or so that I haven’t gotten around to testing yet.
Hi guys! I know I do a lot of purple looks, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to film for this week when I sat down to film. I had done this look the night before when I had friends over and I ended up really liking it so I decided to try to re-create it.
Disclaimer: There is a section where I ended up going off camera so I had to cut it out, and then back track a bit and explain what was missed. I think I ended up making up for it. I don’t have a camera where I can see myself while I film so for the time being my husband has to centre it for me and then I have to hope I stay in the centre. We are working out the kinks as we go!

First up we have the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette which I received as a gift! I started eying up this palette after the first time I saw it. Growing up I have always been a Gwen Stefani fan. She is so talented and always looks fantastic so a palette that she collaborated on has my name written all over it. It’s a beautiful neutral palette with a few pops of colour. Hi guys! After my last round-up post I decided to round-up my blushes and swatch those for you as well. I figured I would start with blushes because it’s a relatively small portion of my makeup collection. I love how much a complimentary blush can make a look more complete. I usually go for a little wash of colour on my cheeks, I don’t really wear anything too intense when it comes to blushes. The blushes are less intense than my swatches suggest, I tried to build up the colours so that my camera would pick them up. Continue reading
With the holiday season in full swing I find myself reaching for my red lipsticks more frequently than usual. To me, red lipstick is a staple in my collection but I don’t find myself wearing them every day. With my fair skin, I find that reds look dramatic on me.
