Hi guys! If you didn’t already know, Urban Decay is discontinuing all of their current Revolution Lipsticks in anticipation of their new Vice Lipsticks. I’ve mentioned it a few times since I started the blog, but the Revolution Lipsticks are up there with my all-time favourite formulas. While I’m super sad to see them go, and super hopeful that the new formula will be just as good, if not better, I am happy to report that they put their entire Revolution line on sale! Sephora (Canada) is all sold out of the Revolution Lipsticks online as far as I can tell but Urban Decay still has a decent selection. I’m not adding this as part of my Love for Lipstick Series since these are discontinued, but, I did want to share with you what I chose…

Drugstore Haul

Hi guys! I ventured into Shopper’s Drugmart yesterday and found quite a few items that I’ve been thinking about purchasing on sale so I decided to take some of them home with me. I almost never go into Shopper’s Drugmart to buy makeup since if I buy anything drugstore I usually just grab it while I’m grocery shopping. However, I saw over on Stashmatters’ Instagram that she spotted a NYX display at her local Shopper’s so I had to see if we had one too. I was super surprised to see that we did!

I had been wanting to try the NYX Micro Brow Pencil for quite some time so that is the item I went for when I saw the NYX display. It is supposed to be a dupe for the ABH Brow-Wiz. I’ve only ever swatched the brow-wiz in a Sephora (they didn’t have my colour in stock so I couldn’t take it home with me) but they do seem very similar. I can’t wait to try penciling in my brows with it! I purchased the shade taupe.

The Maybelline Colour Sensational Creamy Matte Lipsticks is another product from the drugstore that I’ve been eyeing up. They were on sale (and super picked-over) but I managed to grab one in the shade Mesmerizing Magenta. It’s a very pretty bright pink shade and it definitely felt creamy to apply when I swatched it on my arm. Continue reading →

Cyber Monday Colourpop Haul

Hi guys! Colourpop had a sale for Cyber Monday in which everything was reduced by 20% for the day. I saw $4.80 Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks and immediately jumped on that bandwagon. I was impressed with the two I had ordered in the fall so I took this opportunity to add a few more to my collection. I love that I can apply them and not worry about my lipstick partially going rogue throughout the day. Continue reading →

Hi guys! Today I have a very Jaclyn Hill inspired Morphe Brushes haul for you! I decided a little while ago that I needed to add more makeup brushes to my collection to expand my makeup abilities and make it easier to do different eye looks. I watch a lot of Jaclyn Hill tutorials so I made a point of jotting down a few brushes that she was using and looked like they would fill the void in my makeup brush holder. Mini MAC Haul!

Hi guys! I finally caved and bought the MAC 242 Shader Brush! Since MAC had a code for free express shipping in Canada, I added a few other items to my order to make sure I met the $55 minimum. I’m not sure if the code is still active, but it is “NOV”. I love the express shipping deals since it really does feel like almost immediate gratification getting your items so quickly.

Birthday Haul!!!

Hi guys! Today I turn the big 2-6 and I am a little amazed that another year has gone by already. It feels like just yesterday I was in Saint Luca on my honeymoon celebrating my 25th birthday a year ago on this very day. 25 was a great year… my husband and I added Dex to our family, we started going to camp more, and I started the blog! My parents spoiled me this year with a Sephora.ca shopping spree so I thought I would share with you the goodies that I scored! I ordered them ahead of time so that everything would be here on time. I’ll be rocking some of these later tonight for my birthday celebrations.
