Hi guys! Today I have another video tutorial for you using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Self-Made Palette. I have been dying to use the mint green shade Isla so I decided to test it out on camera and come up with a look that focuses on it. The result is a minty smoky eye that I am really happy with!
Hi guys! One of my goals this year is to try different lip products ranging from drugstore to high end. I tend to go for the same lipstick lines such as the Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks and the Colourpop Lippie Stix (to name a few). While I still love them dearly, I also want to switch it up and see what else is out there.
I was just causally browsing the Sephora website and they had a “Lip Boldly” feature on the front page that caught my eye. One thing led to another and I added quite a few to my loves list that I wanted to eventually try. I’m going to continue to order a few in every once and awhile so this is the first batch. I’m also going to pick up lipsticks from the drugstore as well throughout the year. My plan is to eventually do a big collective comparison closer to the end of the year! For now, this Love for Lipstick series will primarily be hauls, but will eventually include mini comparisons.

I must say when it comes to chocolate, even though I do enjoy eating it from time to time, I much prefer the makeup version! I had been eyeing up this palette for awhile so he did good.

Since pink is such a prominent colour for Valentine’s Day I decided to do a very pink look using the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette with other pink accents throughout the face. Hi guys! Welcome to the first favourites post of 2016! To switch things up from the usual I’ve done a video this month. This is my first video-style favourites video so it is very short. I was so surprised when I saw how much footage I had because favourites videos are notoriously super long! I think it will take some time to get used to talking to the camera. My apologies in advance for my bratty dogs. This basically sums up why I’ve been doing all voiceover style videos.

Hi guys! I have another video for you today using the Coastal Scents glamourEYES Palette. I recently used my Birchbox points to get it so I got it for free which was a huge bonus! Regularly it costs $16 CAD on the Birchbox website. I had a sample of two of the shadows from this palette and I was really impressed with the pigmentation. As well, I saw some reviews on other blogs that helped seal the deal.
Hi guys! I was watching a makeup tutorial on Makeup by Andriana’s YouTube Channel the other night when I was so inspired by her look I wanted to take a stab at it myself. When I went to do the look I went by memory and let my own eyes pick the colours. I was so happy with how the look turned out I had to share it here on the blog. This got me inspired to start a new series on the blog called “Inspired Looks” this is how I will label looks where the inspiration came from another blogger, a YouTuber, an instagrammer, etc. And of course, I will link the original content because it was so great that I think you should check it out for yourself! Hi guys! I know I do a lot of purple looks, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to film for this week when I sat down to film. I had done this look the night before when I had friends over and I ended up really liking it so I decided to try to re-create it.
Disclaimer: There is a section where I ended up going off camera so I had to cut it out, and then back track a bit and explain what was missed. I think I ended up making up for it. I don’t have a camera where I can see myself while I film so for the time being my husband has to centre it for me and then I have to hope I stay in the centre. We are working out the kinks as we go!
