The days are getting shorter and the air is getting crisper which means fall (though not officially here) is well underway. Though I don’t really believe in saving makeup for particular seasons I do find my patterns shift as the seasons progress. Mainly I find myself going from my minimal summer routine to one that is more involved and often either warm toned or vampy. I’m excited for this shift as I find fall really represents my favourite time of the year makeup and fashion wise so I thought I’d share with you five lipsticks that I think I’ll have in heavy rotation this fall!

Bite Beauty | Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Hot Harissa

Since I lean towards warm, fall inspired makeup looks in the fall, there is no doubt in my mind that I will be wearing Bite Beauty’s Hot Harissa regularly. The formula is creamy and comfortable as well as very pigmented. Hot Harissa can be described as a warm copper shade and is part of their limited edition Spice Things Up collection which was released Summer 2018 in the Amuse Bouche formula. This shade actually made my Top 3 Lipsticks for Summer list as it was new to me at the time and I don’t anticipate my love for it to die down any time soon.

Fenty Beauty | Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Spanked

Now onto something a little more neutral – Fenty Beauty’s Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in the shade Spanked. I love the formula of this lipstick so this will definitely be a go-to for more a more neutral addition to a look. It’s just such a pretty dusty rose perfect for any occasion!

Hail Cosmetics | Eternal Matte Lipstick in Wolfe

I had mentioned earlier that I also have an infinity for vampy makeup looks when the air starts to grow cooler and what would be a more perfect lipstick for that than Hail Cosmetics’ Eternal Matte Lipstick in the shade Wolfe? It is a cool dark brown with a grey undertone. I find the shade to be pretty unique, at least in my collection, and will definitely be rocking this a lot this fall. Best of all, Hail Cosmetics is a local independent company!

Kat Von D | Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Hawkwind

Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Hawkwind is another great addition to my fall lineup. Described as a nude sienna, this lipstick runs fairly dark on my fair skin while still remaining fairly neutral. It’s no secret that I love liquid lipsticks, particularly in the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick formula!

Kat Von D | Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Haze

Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Haze also had to make this list. It is a beautiful warm toned greige which looks beautiful on the lips! I purchased it last year in a limited edition duo with Haze II (another gorgeous shade but I had to limit myself to 5 for this post!) which seems to be brought back from time to time. I see a bit of a purpleness to this which is another reason why I love it.
