Hi guys! Today I’ve got a quick overview of the beauty items that I either received for Christmas, or purchased during the Christmas Holidays!
First up we have the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette which I received as a gift! I started eying up this palette after the first time I saw it. Growing up I have always been a Gwen Stefani fan. She is so talented and always looks fantastic so a palette that she collaborated on has my name written all over it. It’s a beautiful neutral palette with a few pops of colour. Hi guys! I’ve got two posts for you today. This one was supposed to be up yesterday but some technical difficulties prevented that. One of my New Years Resolutions was to start a YouTube channel to go along with my blog and for once I am ahead of the game since it isn’t 2016 yet! While I was away for Christmas with my husband’s family our cousin suggested doing a Husband Does My Makeup video, except have him do my makeup instead. I thought this was a great idea to get the channel started and break the ice since he is way more outgoing than I am. This video was a lot of fun to film and I hope you enjoy it!

Hi guys! I can’t believe that 2015 is close to coming to an end. When I look back at the year, there isn’t a lot that jumps out at me aside from starting this blog. I really think that this blog was the highlight of the year because it was the moment that I decided to take a chance and do something that I love. I’m not going to get into my resolutions in this post, as that will be it’s own post, but next year I’m going to aim higher that’s for sure.

Hi guys! After my last round-up post I decided to round-up my blushes and swatch those for you as well. I figured I would start with blushes because it’s a relatively small portion of my makeup collection. I love how much a complimentary blush can make a look more complete. I usually go for a little wash of colour on my cheeks, I don’t really wear anything too intense when it comes to blushes. The blushes are less intense than my swatches suggest, I tried to build up the colours so that my camera would pick them up. Continue reading
Hi guys! Merry Christmas!! I’ve mentioned the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette in the past but have never done a full post on it. I absolutely love this palette and think it is a great comparison to the Urban Decay Naked 1 and Naked 2 Palettes. It is mostly warm toned though. It contains both matte and shimmer finished shadows, as well as both light and dark shades. It’s basically a one-stop shop! Continue reading
With the holiday season in full swing I find myself reaching for my red lipsticks more frequently than usual. To me, red lipstick is a staple in my collection but I don’t find myself wearing them every day. With my fair skin, I find that reds look dramatic on me. Hi guys! Colourpop had a sale for Cyber Monday in which everything was reduced by 20% for the day. I saw $4.80 Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks and immediately jumped on that bandwagon. I was impressed with the two I had ordered in the fall so I took this opportunity to add a few more to my collection. I love that I can apply them and not worry about my lipstick partially going rogue throughout the day. Continue reading
