Hi guys! I can’t believe I’m writing this… February Favourites time already? I know I always say this but the time just flew by. I’ve got a few products that I wore regularly this past month and became staples in my routine. From makeup, to skincare and a bit of randomness, let’s dive in!

Morphe | Kathleenlights Eye Shadow Palette

I talked about this palette when I got it back in November, and while I wore it occasionally at the time, I have been wearing it non-stop this past month! In fact, I’ve worn it almost every day. If I don’t know what I want to wear on my eyes, this is the palette I’ve been reaching for. I don’t think it has even been put back in the palette drawer once. February Collective Haul

Hi guys! February was a pretty slow month for me makeup-wise. I didn’t wear much on weekends, I only purchased THREE items and I didn’t post much. The month of February I think I just felt pretty burnt out in general so I spent a lot of time relaxing and not doing much in my spare time. I’m trying to get back on track and begin to focus again as we dive into March though! Hi guys! I mentioned the Essence Lash Princess False Effect Mascara in my January Favourites, and as promised, I’m ready to give you my full review! Essence is a brand that I am usually impressed by, their prices are fantastic and their products are usually of great quality. After enjoying the last mascara that I tried from them and seeing the False Lash Effect Mascara mentioned in a Rachhloves video on YouTube, I knew I had to give it a try.

Love for Lipstick: Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick

Hi guys! I’m back from my brief hiatus and I’m ready to share my thoughts on the newly launched Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick as part of my Love for Lipstick series. As you probably know by now, I am in love with Urban Decay and in love with liquid lipstick so when they announced this combination, my heart nearly stopped. The Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick line claims to be waterproof and long-lasting. It also claims to be pigmented and transfer proof. It comes in two formulas – comfort matte and metallized. MOTD: Mad About Matte

Hi guys! Today I thought it would be fun to show off my matte makeup look that I’m rocking today. I very rarely rock a matte eye makeup look but I wanted something quick and simple today as I was heading out to get my hair done. The only shine I’ve added to this look is my highlight and a shimmery blush. Though I mostly show it on my lips, I am definitely mad about matte!

Hi guys! With Valentine’s Day just one day away I felt compelled to wear a festive pink manicure this week. So today, I’ve dug out OPI Be a Dahlia Won’t You? from their 2011 Nice Stems Collection. It is a sparkly fuchsia shade that just can’t help but catch your eye. I had thought about doing nail art for Valentine’s Day like I did with my Christmas manicures but I just didn’t have the energy to think of something. Hi guys! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought it was appropriate to bust out my holiday looks series again. For today’s look I decided to create a look using my Valentine’s Day present from my husband last year (Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette) and put together a festive pink look! When I think of Valentine’s Day I just want to slather myself in pink! My apologies in advance for the photos being a bit out of focus, this is apparently what happens when I try to squeeze in a photoshoot before work… But, I think you can at least see the basics of the look!

Hi guys! Today I wanted to share with you a review, swatches and a look using the Lorac Pro Eye Palette. In the summer I had picked up the Lorac Pro 2 Palette, about a month ago my parents gifted me the original as a thank you for animal-sitting for them (thank you!!!). Now, you may be thinking, another neutral palette?! Why would one need another neutral palette? If you have tried Lorac’s eye shadow you will understand why.
