Hi guys! I wasn’t sure what I wanted to post today but then the Too Faced Totally Cute Palette that I ordered that UPS delayed delivering two days in a row arrived this morning! I’ll be doing a full review and posting swatches in the near future but today I wanted to play with it and post the look I created.
Hi guys! Today’s Makeup of the Day is inspired by Kathy Lei’s post It Was All Yellow! I loved her take on a bold, bright yellow, and while that colour would not work on me, I decided to dig out my Urban Decay Electric Palette and add a bit of neon pink to my makeup today! Hi guys! I just received a VoxBox from Influenster yesterday that was full of Maybelline goodies to test and review. While I am going to be posting full reviews on the items I received, I thought it would be fun to slap them all on my face and give you my first impressions. My full reviews will be more detailed and comment on wear time, and how they worked for my skin type. I did also add in a few Maybelline items that I already owned to keep this look as Maybelline oriented as I could. The photo above is all the items that I received for review.
Hi guys! I thought it would be fun to break out my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette and do a look slightly different than I normally would do with it (usually I just want to slap Bootycall all over my lid… perfection!). Hi guys! I know today is normally Mani Monday, but the weather was soooo nice this weekend, I didn’t manage to paint my nails! So, instead, I’m sharing the makeup that I have been wearing today! I realized it’s been awhile since I’ve done a pop of purple under my eye, which is weird considering that’s my favourite look, so I thought I would do just that today!
Hi guys! I’m back with another Makeup of the Day post! I noticed today that when I use my Urban Decay Naked Palette I usually use it more for very light, almost non-existent makeup. I will use a few of the darker shades to add depth to the outer-v of my eye but that’s about it. So, today I decided to venture into just the darker side of the palette and do a warm, darker look using this beautiful neutral palette. I also decided to add a few more products in the mix that I’ve acquired over the past month or so that I haven’t gotten around to testing yet.
Hi guys! I don’t know about you but I am ready for Spring! Maybe its the random snowfalls that we have had lately (which are unfortunately a normal part of “Spring” in Thunder Bay) but I feel like I’m wearing a lot of bright makeup lately as if I’m trying to force nicer Spring weather.
Hi guys! Today I thought I would show you the makeup that I am wearing today. I wanted to go neutral because I was planning a very casual outfit (it’s Friday!) but then the blue shadow in the Gwen Stefani Palette jumped out at me. So… I added a pop of colour under my eye! I’m happy with how it turned out!
Hi guys! Yesterday was Family Day in Canada so I decided to take the day off to spend the day with my husband and post today instead. If I had posted I was going to do a MOTD post, but I didn’t even end up wearing much makeup anyways.
I had purchased a red knitted tunic on Sunday which I was planning on wearing today since my husband and I have an event to go to tonight and it really made me want to play with warm eye shadow. I also think that now that my hair isn’t red anymore I feel this compulsive need to add more warmth to my look. Maybe this is because I’m so cool-toned? Who knows?
