Spring is a season that seems to be associated with bright colours, flowers and the grass finally turning green. However, here in Thunder Bay the reality is grey snow banks, possibly more snow and slightly warmer temperatures. The green grass and bright colours don’t come until much later… usually RIGHT before summer temperatures hit. Pantone Colour of the Year 2019 Coral

It’s March and spring, though it seems so far away if you’re buried in snow like we are in Thunder Bay, is coming! Pantone has declared Coral to be the colour of the year for 2019 so I thought it would be fun to round up some products that feature this beautiful colour that reminds me so much of spring. January Favourites

I usually talk about how ‘fast’ a month goes by but was it just me or did January seem particularly long this year? It could have been due to the major cold snap we had for the last couple of weeks at the month that really made it feel long. If I don’t have to see -40 with the windchill on the weather network again for the rest of the winter I’ll be a happy girl! January however was a great month – it was a month of setting goals and working on achieving them. Bite Beauty Scorpio

When Bite Beauty announced their Astrology line of Amuse Bouche Lipsticks I couldn’t wait to see what they would have when my sign came along. Given that I’m a November baby I knew this would be a loooong wait. But alas, Bite Beauty Scorpio came to be and I was so relieved that it was a colour I would actually wear! Lipstick for Fall 2018

The days are getting shorter and the air is getting crisper which means fall (though not officially here) is well underway. Though I don’t really believe in saving makeup for particular seasons I do find my patterns shift as the seasons progress. Mainly I find myself going from my minimal summer routine to one that is more involved and often either warm toned or vampy. I’m excited for this shift as I find fall really represents my favourite time of the year makeup and fashion wise so I thought I’d share with you five lipsticks that I think I’ll have in heavy rotation this fall!

Wow I can’t believe how long it has been since I last wrote a blog post. I’ve missed you guys! How was your summer? I can’t believe how quickly that flew by as well. Spring Picks
