Hi guys! I just did a MOTD post yesterday but, I thought, why not do two in a row? I started cleaning off my vanity today and decided to play around with some products I had out waiting to be tested. The end result turned out great so I thought I’d share it with you! I won a YSL Giveaway a few months ago but for some reason I haven’t spend as much time testing out the products as I would have liked to. My makeup routine has been so minimal on the weekends the last few months so that is likely why. During the week when I wear my normal face, I don’t have time to play around so I stick to what I know. Anyways, let’s check out the look and then I’ll talk a bit about the products I tried out!
Primer: YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer
Foundation: L’Oreal Pro Matte in Classic Ivory
Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape in Fair
Powder: Becca Blotting Perfector
Blush: Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Rapture

YSL Couture Palette #4 – Centre Shade (crease, outer corner & under eye), Top Left Shade (all over lid) & Bottom Right Shade (outer-v). Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eye Pencil in Black (water line). L’Oreal Voluminous Feline Mascara (lashes).
Brows: Essence Make Me Brow Eye Brow Mascara in Blondy Brows
Lips: Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Native & Becca Crystal Glow Gloss in Opal x Jade
The YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer is a product from my YSL goodies that I have tried a few times. I find it does add some radiance to my normally completely matte face. What I kind about it is that I don’t find that I get any oilier looking throughout the day when I use it. Used alone there is some visible shimmer/sparkly pieces but is isn’t too concentrated so I don’t find it to be too much.
The YSL Couture Palette #4 was quite nice to work with. The shadows were pigmented and easy to blend and apply. I do feel like a transition shade is missing so it does not have every shade for a complete eye look. Whenever that is the case I step in with my handy Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Shadow Palette to complete the job! It really isn’t a deal breaker for me, I just wouldn’t take it on it’s own travelling.
Finally, the last product that I was trying out today was the Becca Crystal Glow Gloss in Opal x Jade that I recently picked up. I’m not normally a gloss girl but I have to say, the colour shift really intrigued me. It looked beautiful for layering over lipstick and I was right! It’s hard to see in the photo but there is a teal colour shift to it and it is stunning. It also doesn’t feel sticky on the lips which I really like. The potential stickiness is what keeps me away from glosses. Anyways, these are just some initial thoughts, I will do a more thorough review once I’ve used it more.
