It’s that time of the year again, the annual Sephora VIB sale for the fall season has nearly come and gone. I initially wasn’t planning on picking up much but this sale always falls around my birthday so between treating myself and a few gift cards I ended up with three hauls this go around. The Sephora Spring VIB Rouge Sale is right around the corner! This time around I’m looking to haul some skincare. I’ve been really getting into researching new products to use in my routine. One of the biggest deterrents for me for buying quality skincare is the price so the sale seems like a great time to pick up some new products!
I used a sample of the Farmacy Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm and I really loved the way it made my skin feel in the morning. It supports firming and toning of the skin, as well as reduces fine lines. I’m all about preventative skincare when it comes to anti-aging products so I would love to add this product to my routine. The interesting part about this product is that it is a balm but it melts into an oil in your hands as it warms. Continue reading
I think one of the best parts about the VIB Rouge Sale in the fall is that it is always right around my birthday. Between the desire to treat myself and a few generous gift cards (thank you to my family!), I usually end up with a pretty decent haul. The last of my packages arrived yesterday so I’m ready to share the damage with you!
I had only intended to get one palette during this sale, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Eyeshadow Palette, however, another gift card rolled in around the same time I got the “back in stock” email so it seemed like fate. I’m so glad that Sephora is carrying Violet Voss now. I bought their collaboration palette with Laura Lee last year and really loved it. It was a bit pricy but the 20% off made it worthwhile and they really do make great eye shadows. Continue reading
The annual fall Sephora VIB Rouge Sale is almost upon us and though I’m planning on going light this year, I thought I’d gather up a few items I have my eye on. I likely won’t buy all of these but I always like to have a game plan ready before a big sale! I find it helps keep impulse buys to a minimum. My list is a combination of fun things I’ve had my eye on and practical items that I just don’t want to pay full price for. So, let’s dive into my list, shall we?
After the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Eyeshadow Palette being kind of a flop (note: I did keep it, I do actually use it, but I don’t love it as much as their previous palettes), I was a bit skeptical on the Prism Eyeshadow Palette. However, so far, it looks promising so I will probably pick it up, given the eyeshadow palette addiction that I have.
I’ve had my eye on Black Truffle for quite some time. It is just the kind of vampy shade that I love wearing at this time of the year. I quite enjoy the Amuse Bouche formula, it isn’t my favourite, but it’s quite nice to wear. Continue reading
Hi guys! As many of you know, the Sephora Spring VIB Sale took place about a week ago! I was waiting for my last order to come in to post this, but the ice storm we had here in Thunder Bay this week delayed Canada Post. So when my package arrived today, on a Saturday, I was so excited I couldn’t wait to take pictures and get this post up. I posted my wish list a couple of weeks ago and although I never really stick to it, I did pick up two of the items on it! Generally my list is kind of a starting point  but I always end up straying when it comes time to placing an actual Sephora order.
There is quite a trend of liquid lipsticks in this haul, but as you probably know, that’s essentially my favourite formula to wear. Continue reading

We are still waiting on official dates but it is sounding like the dates for VIB Rouge will be April 18 to 24th which is all we know right now. I’ve been getting more into perfumes lately and I sampled this the other day in Sears and fell in love. I’m terrible at describing notes, so I’m going to snag those from the Sephora website:Â Coffee Accord, Orange Blossom, Cedarwood Essence, Patchouli Essence. It just smelled delightful. I have to say, Cat’s Instagram made me seek this out to give it a sniff! I still can’t wrap my head around how much perfumes cost so the Spring VIB sale seems like a good time to splurge! In keeping with my Spring Wishlist theme, I primarily purchased highlighters! I also threw in a blush and some eyeshadow primer.
